Abstract

The main objective of this article is to make the reader reflect on the concepts developed regarding critical thinking, as well as on its complex relationship with motivational and cognitive aspect. The aim is also to make readers pose a series of questions about how we can contribute from our perspective in the educational field to finally implement critical thinking in our classrooms. It is important to understand that not only the acquisition of certain cognitive skills favor the development of this thinking, but also motivational aspects, effort and dedication since this process is directly linked to improvement in the academic performance in all fields.
