Identity building in talented adolescents

Identity research is a key issue in helping the knowledge of topics of interest in educational psychology such as the development and wellbeing of talented and high-abilities adolescents. According to Buescher and Higham (2011) talented adolescents frequently report a number of problems as a result of their abundant gifts. In this review are reviewed some theoretical proposals that seek to deepen from a social and relational constructionist approach, how the construction of identity is carried out in talented adolescents.
