Abstract

 The relevance of the construct of academic self-efficacy during adolescence and its relationship with various variables has been the objective of this review and analysis of research in this regard. The search for a broad review of articles regarding the construct of academic self-efficacy was extensive. Its analysis period lasted approximately four months, from May to September 2020. From the analysis of the research reviewed, we can conclude that academic self-efficacy is a fundamental factor for academic performance and success.
