Abstract

The present article shows a panoramic view of drama therapy, psychotherapist technique that allows children, teenagers and adults achieve a better psychological functioning through two main techniques: the method of role-playing and stories; that therapy contains psychoanalytical concepts such as the unconscious, the resistance / defense mechanisms, the transference and interpretation. Furthermore, are used techniques employed by psychodrama such as exchange of role playing, dubbing, and the technique of the empty chair, the soliloquy and write a fantasy letter articulating and/or resolving a conflict.
