Relationship between leadership and stress in systems engineering students of lima universities

Abstract

This research analyzes the relationship between leadership and stress in students specializing in Systems Engineering College of the city of Lima.
The issue related to the characteristics of leadership and group quality, highlights and participatory; and the issue regarding the existence of stress on psychological, physiological, and welfare is analyzed.
The sample consisted of 120 students of both sexes whose ages ranged between 16 and 35. The instruments used were a questionnaire of 35 items leadership, stress and a questionnaire of 37 items.
At first the possible relationship between leadership and stress arises; after application of measuring instruments, and analysis of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics follows the relationship between two variables does not, which is demonstrated by a high degree of leadership, especially in Cycle V students of a university public, and students of X Cycle-private university, and a low degree of stress in students mentioned.
