Abstract

The article highlights the need to pay attention in the school on two important components of oral communication: talking and listening, first of all because they require skills that must be educated to a greater communicative efficiency, and, secondly, because both will be fundamental for the acquisition and development of reading and writing as well as for learning the contents of various areas of curriculum. Also useful methodological guidelines are outlined especially for working with children and even with teenagers.
