Evaluation of IPEBA’s matrix for the accreditation of the basic education institutions

A study has been conducted to evaluate IPEBAS matrix for the educational quality certification for Regular Basic Education institutions. lt was intendedto determine to what extent IPEBASstandards met quality requirements, its characteristics, and adaptation to guide and evaluate the teaching/learning process. Á survey was applied to fifteen educational experts that were parted into three groups (leaders, academics, and headmasters). This allowed investigation inquiries to be answeted. Results concluded that IPEBAS proposal was unable to reach the concordance level established as acceptable (60%), although it stands veryclose (57.3%).
