The limbic system is in charge of the processing of emotions at a neurological level. The amygdala, one of the most recently discovered areas, is responsible for the physiological reactions ruled by the autonomic nervous system. It is involved in human expressions that are as natural as empathy, violence and stress. Through the mirror neurons —those that work in the same way when a person carries out an action and when he/she observes another one doing it or when he/she imagines that it is being done—, emotional education can work out, in order to adequately manage our emotions to lead a full life.
