Application and impact of active methodologies in the philosophy course at a peruvian private university

This article demonstrates the impact and implementation of active teaching methodologies under the pedagogical model by competency, created by the philosophy course of the V semester at the University privacy, during the academic year 2017-1. Additionally, it allows to understand the student’s perception regarding the benefits of these methodologies in their learning process. It is important to mention that to conduct this research various strategies were planned and it open a discussion between the students; as well as, in the analysis of the impact of the methodology a mix research was utilized. The analysis of our research shows that students perceive positively the use of active methodologies, they also conceive them as motivating and innovative strategies in their educational process.
