Abstract

The present work aims to determine that Learning with music program helps second grade students from secondary level in Callao to improve the level of listening comprehension. The type of this research is applied, with an explicative level whose design was quasi-experimental. The population is made up of 18 students, with a non-probabilistic sample. In that sample were selected nine students to whom the KET test was applied in order to measure the listening comprensión level before and after the progam intervention. Although there were improvements in aspects like identification of specific information, specific vocabulary and general information, they were no significant differences. In conclusion, this research work demostrated that the Learning with music
program generates positive changes in some aspects of listening comprehension of english in students from second grade of secondary level.
