Abstract

The crisis generated by the coronavirus epidemic (Covid-19) affects all aspects of the world (economic, health, social and educational). The virtual education that has been implemented in an emergency to continue classes and guarantee quality academic training, shows us the weaknesses and shortcomings that occur in the Peruvian educational environment. The present study attempts to describe the perception of virtual university education as well as its social  impact on students today. It is important to have measures that improve educational quality and implement training and methodologies to optimize digital skills in teachers so that the  teaching-learning process is guaranteed.
