Abstract

The following work was originated in the pre-professional practices Psychology’s students from the Argentinean Catholic University carry out in the Catholic Commission of Refugees. Its objective is to describe the refugees’ situation in Argentina and the way students supervised by a tutor participate in many activities under learning service framework. Because of refugees’ high psychological vulnerability, it is necessary to carry out interventions in Mental Health for stimulating the refugees’ adaptation to the country granting asylum. It is expected that this practice will enable the students to acquire and enhance theoretical and practical learning as well as the deployment of its possibilities to help as Christians in the
framework of the career. Need resources to support the improvement of the living conditions of refugees will also be implemented.
